Comet 3I/ATLAS is an interstellar object — but when I processed my latest image, something stood out.

It looks very familiar.

In this video, I compare my photo of Comet 3I ATLAS with a well-known solar system comet that shows surprisingly similar structure and activity patterns.

Are we seeing:

CO-driven outbursts?

Similar coma expansion?

Jet geometry that mimics known periodic comets?

Or something completely different?

I walk through the morphology, orbital differences, and what the physics actually suggests.

No hype. Just imaging and analysis.
