I’ve been tracking GREAT COMET 2026 using my backyard telescope…
But what if we’re looking at it the wrong way?
This comet is massive.
It returns over thousands of years.
And it carries material from deep time.
So here’s the thought…
What if long-period comets are not just objects…
but natural time capsules?
What if a civilization—ours or before us—needed a way to preserve knowledge across thousands… or even millions of years?
Would a comet be the perfect carrier?
This is not a conclusion.
This is a thought process.

⚠️ Viewing tips:
Do NOT use binoculars near the Sun
Look toward the western sky after sunset
Best visibility window: early April (perihelion around April 3–4)
Better viewing expected after April 10 as it rises in the evening sky

Take a selfie with the comet in the background if it gets bright enough.
This is a rare moment — don’t miss it.
