Coming from 5e, theatre of the mind combat can feel vague, loose, and even unfair.
It doesn’t have to be.
In this video, I break down a simple 3-step method to run OSR combat without a grid—while keeping tactics, positioning, and meaningful decisions at the table.
No minis. No squares. Still tactical.
