A little girl was rushed to Nationwide Children's Hospital in critical condition following a shooting Sunday afternoon in the University District.

A Columbus police dispatcher says officers responded to the 1200 block of North Sixth Street around 3:30 P.M.

An initial call to police indicated that the injury may have been self-inflicted or accidental.

However, subsequent reports from other callers indicated a separate shooter may have been involved.

According to police, several teenagers and at least one adult were inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
