This morning, students associated with CPD and CAGe protested Columbia’s investment in the private prison system and the gentrification of West Harlem. They gathered outside Low Library, the site of a World Leaders Forum discussion entitled "Children in the Age of Sustainable Development".

Bryant Brown and Asha Rosa, members of Students Against Mass Incarceration and organizers of CPD, Gabriela Pelsinger, an organizer of CPD and Fainan Lakha, a member of the CAGe, LUCHA, and the International Socialist Organization discussed Columbia’s responsibilities to its community and students.
