Episode 7 opens on the Genosha massacre flashback. Colossus and his sister Magik are trying to save mutants when the Wild Sentinel attacks. Magik gets caught in the blast and dies right in front of Piotr. That's the gut punch that pushes Colossus away from Xavier's dream and into the Acolytes' ranks. Magik had so much potential as a character and they killed her immediately. But her death gives Colossus believable motivation to go full villain-arc. That opening scene set the tone for the entire episode 🔥
