omfg, this upsets me. i uploaded that last video because i thought i wasnt going to get anything else done and here i am with a new video done that i really like. sigh, oh well
so yeah, this has taken awhile because that oh oh oh part i had to look for different clips from different movies and yeah, that takes a bit of time actually. but i incorporated a new technique ;) man, i have a lot of techniques. i love cookie cutter, did you know that
do you know how many layers this has. would you like to know. yes you would. it has so many layers. which makes rendering take forever. DDx and omg, im as illiterate as liam payne today. sigh
ok well, i normally dont upload twice in one day but today is a good day. i think i might actually finish my dsst part, im either going to redo it or keep it as it is. leaning towards keep as is because im a lazy mf. ok, have a nice day

this video sure gave me a lot of crap. first, it wouldnt render past a certain point, then i found out the text was causing this so i had to render BOTH the text and video separately. then i had to render the text as a .mp4 and THEN youtube wasnt accepting it as a .wmv so i had to convert the file to .mp4, just... omfg
anyway, its been awhile since ive made - or finished - a mep part. im getting back into the groove so youll be seeing plenty from me in the future. im working on another project so itll be done within the week.

EDIT: THE FINAL MANIP I SHOWED IS ONLY BLACK N WHITE TO MATCH THE BACKGROUND BUT ALSO BECAUSE THE LIGHTING WAS OFF AND MADE IT LOOK WEIRD THAT IS ALL
so, as the title states, this is a tutorial on how to use chroma keyer to make cgi manipulations, like the one in the video. cgi can be hard to work with, but if you know your way around chroma keyer and such, it can be very easy. i hope this isnt too boring and i hope it actually helps
in case the video is confusing, you want to use chroma keyer on a scene that has a background of one color, such as the campfire scene in tangled. i also utilize cookie cutter to make it look as realistic as possible. cookie cutter is mostly used to cut out secondary characters in the scene, as well as making little black splotches that makes rapunzel un-see-through.
if anyone wants a more complicated manip to be shown in a tutorial like this, please let me know.
