We begin just off Colorado State Route 149 at North Clear Creek Falls. We head north on Highway 149 and quickly pass over 10,898 foot Spring Creek Pass. We descend this pass only to quickly begin the ascent up 11,530 foot Slumgullion Pass. We descend the north side of this pass, which has the steepest grade of any continuously paved road in Colorado at 9%. We pass through the town of Lake City and continue up Highway 149 through canyons, meadows, valleys and mountains. We eventually reach US Highway 50, where we head east for a few miles before ending this video.
