This is one in a set of 10 videos which can be used to investigate the total momentum of a system of colliding objects both before and after the collision. The data can be used to test if the system’s momentum or kinetic is conserved throughout the collision. The collisions show both “bouncing” and “sticking” collisions with varying mass cars on a low friction horizontal track.
