Same car. Same day. Same mods. 3 versions of the CP2 maps.
I went out with a mate to see what stage 2 is like.
We loaded 3 versions of the Collins Performance CP2 maps on the same day to see the difference.
CP2 felt good coming from MP215, a little more power and torque that went to redline rather than die off at 5500rpm. The power/torque delivery was very smooth and linear using the ever inaccurate bum dyno.
CP2E seemed to unleash the full potential of the car and frees it up a bit. Throttle response is more punchy and you get a bit more noise too. Again this power is delivered very smoothly and all the way to redline. This was my preferred map of the day.
CP2E Pops and Bangs. Although it isn't for me it delivered the same performance as the 2E but once your revs are over 4000rpm and you back off it's bloody loud! The pops and bangs seemed to continue on decel until around 3500rpm. Too bloody loud for me.
