In winter, energy demand for battery heating, cabin conditioning, and the drive system increases significantly. This is exactly where ZF TherMaS comes in, demonstrating the enormous efficiency potential of thermal management: Through optimized use of drive waste heat and a high-performance propane-based heat pump, the system increases the electric range in winter by up to 10%, and in extreme conditions by up to 30%.

🌡️Even at –25°C, TherMaS reliably delivers at least 10 kW of heating power, keeping the battery within the optimal temperature range – a key factor for efficiency and performance in cold conditions. At the same time, the compact design reduces heat loss and facilitates integration for vehicle manufacturers.
