"A life of freedom huh...? What do you think would happen to Figaro if both of us left? There'd be no one to take the throne. Dad was counting on us to take care of the kingdom..."
Who will be king? The reluctant brothers settled it with the toss of a coin...
"If it's heads, you win. Tails, I win. The winner chooses whichever path he wants... no regrets, no hard feelings. Okay?"
And so, the ultimate brotherly sacrifice for Sabin was made. Edgar had knowingly tossed a two headed coin so that Sabin would win "fairly".

Ive just gotten myself a bunch of Ghibli arrangements by Hirohashi Makiko, and this short and simple one is the first of the lot! Not sure why Ive never bothered myself with these, I think theyre just about as good as her Disney arrangements. But its never too late. Looking forward to recording the rest!

♫Inuyasha - To Loves End [Piano Cover]♫
I have not watched a single episode of Inuyasha, but I do recall listening to this over and over again when I had to part ways with someone who used to be very close to me. That was about 5 years ago, and back then, I had known this piece as Affections Touching Across Time. It was only when I began work on this arrangement several days ago that I learnt of its alternate title - To Loves End. Damn, that couldnt be more apt.
While searching around YouTube for different covers for inspiration, I also discovered that there were some with Chinese lyrics sung to it. I particularly like this one a lot: https://youtu.be/UUJIbc94PL4

I think it works really well with Erhu.
Anyways. I had thought I was going to do a short and simple arrangement that lasted no longer than 4 mins. Looks like it turned out much longer than expected. But its alright, Im pretty satisfied with it. Makes it all the more epic and heartbreaking I think! Ive actually been improvising on this theme quite a bit for a long time now, and its about time I did a cover for it. So here it is. I hope you like it, and I especially hope it brings lots of feels to you. Because that was exactly what I was going for. Feels yeah.

Ive been wanting to do this one for a long time. I finally finished watching Clannad a few weeks ago and thats when I decided that this just had to be moved up my list! Too much feels... :p
Even though Im not too happy with how my performance went, Im quite satisfied with how the arrangement turned out. Yes, I have sheets! I didnt like the ones I found so I decided to make my own. I think its quite similar to Kyle Landrys cover. Cant help myself.
