Affordable RV Living is within your reach! Interested in free or low-cost campgrounds? US Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds (COE campgrounds) are one of the best values (low cost) for camping and RV living. Most COE campgrounds are equipped with partial hookups, nearby water, dump stations, warm showers and great amenities. For the fisherman, many COE campgrounds are designed with you in mind - and include boat launching facilities, fish cleaning stations, ample fishing spots, great lakeside views and awesome low-cost camping spots. Since the making of this video, we have now utilized 5 COE campgrounds and found most to be extraordinary (at a low cost) with wide camping areas, modern play areas for the kids, beautiful lake views, swimming beaches, clean dump stations, clean park and friendly camp hosts. COE's typically charge $20 - $30 for partial hookups and less for primitive tent sites. COE's are a low cost (and in some cases no cost) RVing and camping alternative to more expensive private campgrounds and RV parks.
Alongside one of our recent COE campground stays, we discovered a free primitive COE campground that was very well maintained with awesome views and sites on the Missouri River. Had we known about this location prior to making our reservations, we would have stayed here. 20+ sites and only a few RV's in the whole area! Imagine having your own RV/campground site on the banks of the Missouri - for FREE!

One of the most important things we have in our RV is a high quality RV water filtration system that filters water so that its much safer to drink. RV drinking water filtrations systems are numerous, but we show you the system we purchased from RVWATERFILTERSTORE.COM.
RV water filter systems come in many forms. For example: Berkey water filter systems are great, but not everyone has room in their RV for a Berkey. We think a system likes ours is a great alternative to bulky water filter systems that take up valuable space in a RV. We are Brian and Shawnna, a full time rv couple who enjoy full time RV living. We are empty nesters who recently quit our corporate jobs, sold our home and auctioned off just about everything we own to live a simpler, more purposeful life in our RV. As Full Time RVers, our goal is to experience life and make awesome rv lifestyle videos for our community. We decided to retire from life as we knew it so we traded our stuff for experiences. We travel in a 2008 Winnebago Motorhome (RV) with a preference for RV boondocking. We vlog, blog and update social media with our RV travel experiences, advice and challenges with a goal of helping other RVers along the way - find beautiful places to stay and save money by seeking out low cost campgrounds and awesome boondocking sites. The RV life is a great life, but its not without its challenges. We plan to share those with you and offer advice along the way.
