Now we're in the R2 season of Code Geass, which managed to only have 2 tracks miss the bonus soundtrack. And they are both use the same recurring motif that appears in various released tracks like Grand Fleet, Dark Activity and Sublime. The latest of those sounds closest to the way the strings sound here, though this track uses only strings and is a lot slower. (also Sublime was probably made for the 5.1 rescore anyway, but that's neither here nor there). Anyway this track appeared a few times in the 2nd season for more intimate scenes.
