The CoCoVGA project is an upgrade for Color Computer 1/2 and Dragon machines that upgrades the Motorola 6847 VDG (Video Display Generator) to not only provide clean VGA output which is visually stunning, but it also offers many enhancements, such as the ability to modify the character set, an expanded 64 column by 32 line mode (double the original) new graphics modes, with up to 16 colors on screen, and the ability to change the color palettes of any graphics mode from a choice of 512 colors, all of which weren't available on any original Color Computer.
