This video will take a fairly deep dive into some customization you can apply to the CoCoPi3 and MAME to joystick enable MAME and the CoCo to be as close to a modern game console as possible.

The goal would be to armchair control your CoCo from a game controller and launch a variety of cartridges with minimal keyboard involvement.
