A typical WW2 bombing range quadrant tower, they were arranged so that they could between themselves, score the accuracy of the practice bombing, usually the two quadrant towers and the target itself formed a triangle. This bombing range was used to train pilots based at RNAS Inskip/Knightjar. Apparently there's a Fairy Swordfish wreck out on the sands....
