HUNTING JET PROVOST T.3 XN637 (G-BKOU)
BAC JET PROVOST T.5 XW324 (G-BWSG)

It's good to be back at Blackpool airport for some filming, It's been pretty quite here since 'International' operations ceased last year. Two Jet Provost's coming into land, They will be based here all weekend for their appearances at this weekends airshow at Southport.

HUNTING JET PROVOST T.3 XN637 (G-BKOU)

Jet Provost T.3 XN637 was built by Hunting-Percival at Luton, and after flight tests was declared ready for collection on 31st August 1961. It was ferried from Luton to RAF Shawbury a week later (7th September) where it went to 27MU, for final preparations for RAF service began.

BAC JET PROVOST T.5 XW324 (G-BWSG)

XW324 was built at Warton, as the 38th Jet Provost T.5 for the Royal Air Force. It was accepted by the RAF in early 1970 and went into service with No.3FTS at RAF Leeming. Coded '38' the aircraft was used for basic pilot training, and also was used by the School's aerobatics team 'Gemini Pair' during 1973.
