Woah, I think this is the first year that I’ve made one of these videos and it didn’t take literal hours to export!
2022 was a BUSY year for me. There were tragedies and triumphs ranging from family deaths to my graduation, but in the end I’m still here and kicking! I didn’t animate quite as much this year as I usually do, but I made some advancements in my writing and still art techniques… I’ve also laid the ground work for some exciting future projects!
Now I said this last year but a lot of the projects that I had took a lot more set up than I was expecting, so I’m saying it again this year: I have a lot of plans for 2023… let’s see what it brings us!

Woah, a Valentine’s Day video? Heck yeah, we’ve got some Eifia for the soul today 😎
I love this song and the whole concept of a “string of fate” style map, and it was a lot of fun to translate that into my characters! I like the idea of Eight and Safia being “connected” through everything that they’ve been through!
Also HOLY COW AFTER EFFECTS IS A STRUGGLE but I have access to it right now so I WANT TO ABUSE IT I LOVE THE PIN TOOL!!!")

Ive been so distracted by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that I only just now realized I have a handful of month-old MAP parts I never put up XD oops!
I joined this MAP as I was getting some Agents of Shield nostalgia because I loved Agents of SHIELD so much and the concept of this MAP is wonderful! Its a broken relationships MAP, so relationships within the cast that were somehow broken over the course of the show. I chose to use Skye and Triplett Trips death was one of the most dramatic and heartbreaking in the show, and I really loved their friendship beforehand! Seeing him come back in the Framework was one of the highlights for me! I made this part pretty quickly, but overall Im happy with it!

Matt Murdock may be a lawyer, but that does not mean he always wants to talk. He understands the power of words, but the law can only stretch so far… sometimes he has to “dance” with the criminals and take the fight into his own hands. However, his attempts to carry justice on his own shoulders can lead to him forgetting what he has and distancing himself from his friends. Thankfully Foggy and Karen are just as stubborn as this blind vigilante and will make sure he takes care of himself as well as the city he protects!
Guess what Marvel character I am remembering that I absolutely adore? :D Matt Murdock is literally one of my favorites, I’m so happy that he is (NWH SPOILER!!!) canon to the MCU now. Score for the self-destructive blind vigilante, heck yes!!!
This isn’t my best animation but hey, it’s a quick little meme with one of my favorite characters and I’m happy with it! I also tested out a new coloring/shading style and honestly… I don’t think it made a huge difference, lol. I did learn at least one new texturing strategy that I think I will use in the future though, so I see this as an absolute win!
