Matt Murdock may be a lawyer, but that does not mean he always wants to talk. He understands the power of words, but the law can only stretch so far… sometimes he has to “dance” with the criminals and take the fight into his own hands. However, his attempts to carry justice on his own shoulders can lead to him forgetting what he has and distancing himself from his friends. Thankfully Foggy and Karen are just as stubborn as this blind vigilante and will make sure he takes care of himself as well as the city he protects!
Guess what Marvel character I am remembering that I absolutely adore? :D Matt Murdock is literally one of my favorites, I’m so happy that he is (NWH SPOILER!!!) canon to the MCU now. Score for the self-destructive blind vigilante, heck yes!!!
This isn’t my best animation but hey, it’s a quick little meme with one of my favorite characters and I’m happy with it! I also tested out a new coloring/shading style and honestly… I don’t think it made a huge difference, lol. I did learn at least one new texturing strategy that I think I will use in the future though, so I see this as an absolute win!

This is a MAP part for a color-palleted MAP, one that is focused around the idea of “corrupted heroes”. The colors in this MAP represent specific stages of the character’s lives. When the characters are mostly white with color accents it represents them as heroes, while colored characters with white accents represent corruption.
I focused on the characters Sera and Vedo from my novella series, Fallen Renegades. In the first shot we see all of Squadron 416 at their height. Sera and Vedo both have colored accents to mark them as “hero” characters, while Reno and Opal are simply supporting characters. The next shot shows Reno’s death, and we transition into a shot that shows Sera’s reaction. As she mourns the death of her friend her coloring changes, symbolizing the way that the grief corrupts her. The final shot shows both Sera and Vedo with dark markings to show the way they have both been corrupted by their coping mechanisms; Sera by alcoholism, Vedo by workaholism.
The color pallet and theme of this MAP made it a really fun project to work on, and I’m happy with the mix of animation styles I was able to use! Be sure to check out the MAP call and the other artists that are participating, the project is coming along so well!

Tony and Steve marvel cats! I loved this scene in the movie, but who am I kidding there are very few Marvel scenes that I genuinely dislike XD Oh my goodness, this MAP is really looking beautiful and Im so happy to have gotten a part! The designs are gorgeous and it was a ton of fun to work on! I cant wait to see the whole thing finished!

Fun Fact: I did this part in about 3 hours and 36 minutes; Pepper told me the part was open and I was like “watch me speedrun this in like three hours” so HERE WE ARE!
Just a cute, simple part with my OCs Eight and Safia! Safia is an interdimensional criminal and Eight is the combustible mutant cat that she falls in love with after she escapes her dimension. I love the frame-by-frame and shading in this, at least for a 4 hour project!
