CNN host and chief Washington correspondent Jake Tapper admitted that former President Donald Trump "was right" when he accused then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden of accepting large amounts of foreign money during the 2020 presidential debates.
On CNN's "The Lead" Thursday, Tapper also declared that Biden "was wrong" during the match-ups between the two candidates three years ago, when the then-Democratic nominee denied Trump’s allegations that his son made "a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow and various other places."
At the time Biden flatly rejected the claim, saying, "None of that is true." Tapper gave Biden the benefit of the doubt in his commentary, stating he didn’t know whether the then-candidate was "lying" at the time.
Tapper played a compilation of the two debate exchanges and compared them with a recent report from Washington Post chief-fact checker Glenn Kessler showing Biden to be wrong.
The host stated, "Glenn Kessler from the Washington Post had a fact check about Joe Biden from earlier this month noting that Hunter Biden admitted in court in July that he was in fact paid substantial sums from Chinese companies."
Citing the piece, Tapper said, "Kessler wrote, ‘Hunter Biden reported nearly 2.4 million in income in 2017 and 2.2 million in income in 2018,’ most of which came from Chinese or Ukrainian interests."
He then took a swipe at Biden’s 2020 claims, before playing footage from the debates, "This directly goes against what Joe Biden said in the debate in 2020 with Donald Trump. Take a listen."
After playing the footage of then-President Trump’s allegations and Biden’s denial, Tapper admitted that Trump was correct about Hunter Biden's business dealings.
"So this is from two different debates but, I mean, Trump was right. I mean, he did make a fortune from China and Joe Biden was wrong," Tapper declared.
About Biden’s denial, he added, "I don’t know that he was lying about it. He might not have been told by Hunter, but this blind spot is a problem."
After Tapper asked his panelists whether they considered this blind spot to be an issue for the president going forward, former Rep. Andy Levin, D-Mich., played the issue off, saying, "Well I think dads sometimes, and parents sometimes, have blind spots about their kids for sure and the president may be no exception. But nothing has tied the president to any of Hunter Biden’s dealings. There’s no whiff of him being involved or implicated in it."
"I think it’s not something the voters care a lot about," he added.
Though Biden denied his son’s alleged corrupt business dealings while on the presidential campaign trail, CNN recently mentioned that the president has been "very obsessed" with the topic and sensitive to how it’s being portrayed in the media.
Earlier on Thursday, CNN’s John Avlon stated, "And in private also, I've heard reports that he’s very obsessed with the negative coverage of Hunter. He’s concerned about it, it’s an irritant. And that’s understandable. But not one that allies around him want to raise because it will derail a conversation."

![Amazing Message - #Walkaway From Liberalism Campaign - Brandon Straka Kills It
Gay Conservative (Ex-Liberal) Brandon Straka Starts Powerful Anti-Left Movement #WalkAway When actor James Woods tweeted the hashtag “#WalkAway” in June, even the alt-right missed the enormity of what lay beneath it. The Democrat Party had, in fact, struck an iceberg. 5 million people on Facebook and YouTube have seen the video by now. A very handsome gay man, who you just assume is about to scold you on progressive talking points, instead says this: “Once upon a time, I was a liberal. Well, to be honest, less than a year ago, I was still a liberal.
“I reject a system which allows an ambitious, misinformed and dogmatic mob to suppress free speech, create false narratives, and apathetically steamroll over the truth.”
And then this devastating line—the Rosa Parks moment of the video:
“I reject hate.”
If Democratic strategists were still able to watch the rest of the video without suffering a nervous breakdown, they’d see that it quickly got worse.
“These are the reasons why I became a liberal. And these are the same reasons why I am now walking away.”
Meet Brandon Straka, the unlikely liberator and new face of the “silent minority” of Americans who’ve been cast out by family and friends, fired from jobs, and forced into silent social ghettos for their failure to “get it” about how hateful and dangerous Donald Trump is, and why he and all his supporters should be subjected to an ever-expanding social and professional fatwah.
Since Straka published his confessional, his life as a New York City hairdresser and aspiring actor has been overtaken by a tidal wave.
While speaking to The Epoch Times about the explosion of his #WalkAway campaign, Straka had to go style a client’s hair, all while fielding a constant barrage of newcomers’ testimonial letters, videos, and emails—over 1,000 a day.
They gather at his two Facebook groups, “The Unsilent Minority” and “WalkAway Campaign.” Those who have the courage post their own testimonials about the moment when the abuse, rage, and ugliness of the Democrats caused them to finally leave the party and “walk away.”
“This is so much more than a hashtag on Twitter,” he said. “This is a testimonial campaign, a grassroots movement that is going to change the political landscape of this country.”
And that’s the astonishing twist here: If these people have been driven into the arms of Donald Trump, who’s left on the left?
Those who are walking away are not Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables,” but rather, in many cases, lifelong Democrats who simply could not take it any longer and have longed for this very moment, when somebody like them would make it safe for them to come out of the closet and speak their minds.
From urban gay men to staunch liberal grandmothers, from a punk drag queen with black lips to a tattooed lesbian with a mohawk, those posting testimonials all had a breaking point, a moment when they decided to “walk away.”
A man adjusts his video camera and sits back. The walls behind him are a tasteful grey-blue. He’s a gay, affluent, native New Yorker, and he’s coming out of the second closet of his life. For Ricky Roberts, the moment came after the Orlando nightclub shootings.
“Trump said he was going to protect gay men, and he did, [with] the travel ban. Hillary was telling Americans not to ‘pick on all Muslims because of this.’” That did not feel like protection to him. “I swear to God, wanted to throw my shoe through the TV. At that point I was like, I can’t do it anymore. I really can’t. You know, listen, I’m a gay guy from NYC, but before that, I’m an American, a patriot, now an uncle. From immigration to everything, they are just a disaster.
“They’re anti-American, anti-common sense, rational—anything good, they’re against it.”
Straka, who grew up in a small town in Nebraska, was on board with the fear and loathing campaign around Trump until he began asking people back home why they had voted for him. To his astonishment, they told him about Obama-era regulations that had crippled their small businesses.
He started to research media canards like the one about Trump supposedly mocking a disabled reporter. When he found that it was a total distortion, he kept going, anger rising.
He eventually became “completely ‘red-pilled.” Isolated, he told himself that he would have to give up his lifelong dream of becoming an actor if he hit the “publish” button on his video, but, encouraged by one conservative gay friend, he decided to do it.
“This was a matter of the media specifically manipulating people’s deepest fears based on legitimate traumas. Many gay people have experienced serious homophobia and physical violence. Can you imagine manipulating a domestic violence survivor’s fears just for political purposes? It’s insane.

![Canadian Police Are Evil Thugs - Left Wing Henchmen For Trudeau Government
Rebel News’ David Menzies brutally arrested for scrumming Freeland - Welcome to [Justin Trudeau]’s Canada, Menzies can be heard saying. This is what they do to journalists. I was merely trying to scrum Minister Freeland and the RCMP officer blocked me, and evidently this is a trumped-up charge of assault, folks. - “I came here to do my job, and now I’m handcuffed.” Rebel News’ beloved Mission Specialist David Menzies was just brutally arrested for practicing journalism in the Toronto suburb of Richmond Hill.
Menzies was physically obstructed by an unnamed RCMP officer, who interfered with his attempt to question Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland.
Menzies was then swarmed by officers and hauled off in a paddy wagon for an unknown charge at a memorial service held for Canadians killed after the Iranian military shot down Flight PS752 four years ago.
“Welcome to [Justin Trudeau]’s Canada,” Menzies can be heard saying. “This is what they do to journalists. I was merely trying to scrum Minister Freeland and the RCMP officer blocked me, and evidently this is a trumped-up charge of assault, folks. I came here to do my job and now I’m handcuffed.”
“Meanwhile,” Menzies continues, “the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is not a terrorist organization, and these Liberals have the audacity to show up at a vigil where Canadians were killed… it’s against the law to ask impolite questions.”
The arrest comes as Canada grapples with pro-Hamas hate rallies and protests across the country. Weekly, these pro-terrorism protesters in Toronto are given police escorts, and coffee deliveries by law enforcement, while they obstruct roads and overpasses.
This isn’t the first run-in that David Menzies has had with the RCMP. He was attacked two short years ago by Trudeau’s bodyguards on a public street in Toronto for the same crime of practicing accountability journalism.
Chrystia Freelands RCMP thugs just arrested David Menzies. All he did was try to ask Freeland a couple of questions. The madness needs to end, and the only way to get justice is in court. We will need to retain a lawyer to fight back. Please chip in a donation at www.rebelne.ws/3RTGZiQ to help us pay the legal fees.
This footage is shocking. This isnt the first time this government has arrested David for simply asking questions. The madness needs to end, and the only way to get justice is in court. We will need to retain a lawyer to fight back. If youd like to join us in this fight and stand with David Menzies, please chip in a donation right here on this page.

![Did You Know Rush Limbaugh Is Totally Deaf?
Talk show host Rush Limbaugh talks about going deaf in 2014. When I got my original cochlear implant 13 years ago — I still cant believe its been that long — I was told to leave my right ear alone, Limbaugh explained on his program Thursday about his decision then to only have an implant in his left ear. I was told back then that they take, in essence, the guts of the ear out. So, if there were to be a cure, I need my right side untouched so that the cure could be applied to it.
But although doctors told Limbaugh the cure would come in about 10 years, that cure hasnt happened, and there wont be a cure anytime soon for what caused his deafness.
The ear contains 35,000 hair cells, which act as frequency receptors for sound, he explained. In his case, the cells were lying flat, which prompted his immune system to flood his ears with white blood cells, and immunosuppression drugs and chemotherapy treatments would not reverse the damage.
Limbaughs first cochlear implant was a then-state-of-the-art device containing 18 to 21 electrodes that attempt to replicate the natural ear and the 35,000 hair cells.
But even though the device restored some hearing, its not the same, said Limbaugh.
Its totally artificial because in my memory of hearing there isnt anything I ever remember hearing that sounds like the way I hear things now, he said. The closest that I could come to it — and this doesnt get there, but, I mean, this is the closest in trying to help people understand how I hear things is scratchy, static AM radio. Thats not it, but thats as close as I can get.
While others have had more success with the implant, Limbaugh said he had to turn off several of its electrodes because of adverse reactions.
Before the operation, Limbaugh watched the surgery performed on another patient so he could see what would happen.
The operation, he said, uses a drill to carve out a trench for the implant, which is about 2 inches long and one inch wide and shaped like a bell.
I still have all the giant bandages on, he said Thursday, explaining that there was no Dittocam on the show because I look like Claude Rains [in the film The Invisible Man] with the invisible stuff not working.
Doctors will switch on Limbaughs new cochlear implant May 9, and begin a mapping process to program the implant.
It can be better than what Im used to, it can be worse, said Limbaugh. I mean, the right side of my brains been dormant. It hasnt been used for hearing. It may have forgotten how. You never know.
