We are thrilled to showcase our fledgling Vectric maker Olly in this month’s “In The Labs” project, as he shows us how to design and make this inspirational ‘Let’s Get Making’ 3D stencil on his CNC using just a font and an image!
Watch how quickly Olly creates this multi-layer kit using drawing tools in Cut2D, splitting the layers to create each color pallet and machining his stencils in upcycled MDF. Olly then gets to grips with his new stencils to spray some super hot designs on upcycled wood and canvas. This project could also work well on clothing, walls or wood, in the workshop, on spoil boards or even local art events, so whether it’s wall art or wear art, see how easy it is to use your CNC to make tools for your own amazing art projects!
