For the Vectric’s User Group Meeting, I wanted to make something that we don’t see often enough: a rotary carving. On this occasion, I’m making a turtle. What's different about it, is that it’s split in six parts and all the parts are glued together in the end. You will also see a bit of the paint job my wife did on it. I hope you’ll learn one or two tricks with my presentation.

Pour l’événement en direct de Vectric, je voulais faire quelque chose de spécial qu’on ne voit pratiquement pas: une sculpture rotative. Pour l'occasion, j’ai fait une tortue. Ce qui la rend spéciale c’est qu’elle est découpée en six morceaux. Chaque morceau est ensuite recollé en place pour former la tortue complète. Vous verrez aussi un peu le travail de mon épouse qui a fait la peinture. J'espère que vous apprendrez un ou deux nouveaux trucs à travers mes explications.
