About this scam: The scammer posts an apartment or house for rent on Craigslist or other rental listing sites, usually far below a normal price. The posts themselves usually look suspicious, with poorly written content/descriptions and poor resolution images, or none at all. The scammer responds with awkward emails stating that they are "out of town" but can send you the keys once they have received a security deposit, usually through Moneygram or Western Union. SCAM. Do not ever wire money to someone that you don't know, no matter how good the deal sounds.
