Today I sat down with friend and Headliner Simon Evans to discuss Kanye West's ban from the UK (while our borders are wide open for others) and the distribution of rape whistles to schoolgirls in my home town of Dumfries following the enrichment of the area through the opening of a migrant hotel.

I always thought that Dumfries would be somewhere I could flee to if London gets too vibrant and I need to raise my daughters somewhere free from our greatest strength. But nowhere is free.
