I don't really have much to say about this besides that I missed recording speedpaints and also just really, really wanted to post here for once. So I recorded myself making a new character for part of a group I'm gonna make with some friends of mine. Haven't named this lad, but they're part of the circus! Maybe you'll see some more of them in the future.
Kinda forgot to record the sketch but that's because I didn't have the idea to make a speedpaint out of this until after I had finished. Maybe I should record more of my design process?

Heres a commission thing for one of my friends, Nova!! I knew I wanted to make this extra cool and also do all sorts of funky effects so I decided to record the process because I thought itd be fun! That, and I dont have any animations near completion to go and finish sghjfsh,,, but yea I think this came out very well!!! I really needed the humanoid and background practise,,
Neither Emi or Harper belong to me, although they are very funky characters that I love a lot~

Mono hosts a family reunion, tries to burn a forest down in an attempt to kill everyone who attends it, and fails to do the one thing he always wanted. Also Rivalry is there and decides hell keep living and be a good person just to spite him. How wonderful...
So...this is something Ive wanted to make for a few months now. I started sketching out frames about...a week ago(?) and just went from there because I got suuuuper inspired!! :D And honestly Im pretty happy with it, even if its not the longest or most well edited thing Ive done. Making story-related things is my biggest passion so this was really cool to make!! uwu

Hey!! Its been a little while since I posted so uhh sorry about that! Ive kinda had a life recently so I have less time to animate the things I want... plus I was super excited to make this, so I put a lot of effort into it! Im pretty proud of it, so I hope you guys like it too. I dont really make story-related animations as much as Id like.
The main character shown here is Rivalry, a Mareep/Eevee hybrid who kinda-sorta lives with the edge squad. Theyre also kinda the child of Mono and Jupiter but shh Ill explain that at a later time. Basically this is supposed to show them reaching into memories to see what the heck happened to everyone to make them as messed up as they are. If anybody doesnt already know whats going on (i really only explained on discord tbh) Id love to hear some theories!
Also Rivalry isnt even my character but I love them a whole lot. They belong to Totoparty on dA!")

ooOOH GOD oh god its finally here. finally. realistically I couldve had it done a couple of months ago as I was only waiting on one part for ages- but thats my fault for being too lenient and then being too lazy to finish the part myself for about a month after. but!! yes! the Disobedient MAP doesnt have to be some kinda weird myth anymore. its real and Im happy to be able to focus on other things even more now! :D
this waaaas.... a disaster in terms of how I hosted it- my attention issues and bad memory makes it so that Im not the best MAP host. and I apologise for that. but Im incredibly proud of everybody who joined and finished their parts! they all look so good, I love looking at all the unique art styles and different kinds of OCs in this. I also find it pretty funny that most people stuck to using purple backgrounds despite that not actually being a requirement, haha...
but yeah! thank you to all the animators who helped make this a reality. you all did wonderful and I will absolutely continue to host more MAPs in the future~
