The 24th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) came to a close on Dec 13 at Thiruvananthapuram. As usual, the film festival saw hundreds of film enthusiasts from across the state and outside Kerala.

Argentine director Fernando Solanas won the Lifetime achievement award at IFFK.

Among the winners from Malayalam are Lijo Jose Pellissery for Jallikattu, Dr. Biju for Veyilmarangal, Madhu C Narayanan for Kumbalangi Nights and Santhosh Mandoor for Pani.
