Alawa was an important player in the fight to preserve wolves’ rightful place in the environment. She taught many that wolves can be gentle yet fierce, loving, and loyal. We miss her every day.

The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. Ambassador wolves Silas and Nikai help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

If you want to watch them or the WCC's critically endangered Mexican gray wolves or red wolves in live time, visit our live wolf webcams at nywolf.org/webcams. If you see something cool, let us know!
