25 Days of Wolves | Day 9 🐺
Today's spotlight is featuring Mexican gray wolf Lighthawk. Lighthawk has spent most of his young life as a wild wolf roaming the terrain of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests before being removed due to appeasing livestock production.
He was then flown to the WCC in 2017 where he now resides with his mate Trumpet who have welcomed a total of six litters of pups together.
