A suitable New Year's Eve song? Written by Coldplay, originally released on their album "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" (2002).
This has a fairly simple structure; the chords are Eb, Bbm, Fm with a couple of added dominant 7th's in the verse/chorus (i.e. Bbm7, Fm7). Note that in the 'interlude' section the Fm7 has an Ab in the bass (i.e. Fm7/Ab). The Bridge ("And nothing else compares" lyric) has a different chord structure - here we find GbM7, Db, & Ab6.
This video is a 'live' piano/vocal performance recorded in combination with a pre-recorded backing track - no overdubs.
Performed on the Medeli SP4200 keyboard; using the Behringer C-1 condenser vocal mic.
