The climate science degree program at Oregon State University explores how Earth's climate is changing and why. Utilizing a strong math and physics foundation, our students understand interactions between the atmosphere, oceans, land and ice.

Students build essential skills in programming, data analysis, visualization and communication through hands-on, real-world experiences that prepare them to tackle urgent climate problems. Our graduates go on to careers in weather forecasting, climatology, hydrology, environmental consulting, GIS and more.
