As the 21st century unfolds, humanity finds itself grappling with the issues of AI and climate change. Each poses distinct risks, yet both demand urgent global attention and nuanced governance.
Bringing together experts, including Rupert Read, co-director of the Climate Majority Project and an Emeritus Professor at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Jake Newman, Lecturer in Computing Sciences at UEA, plus an audience of community voices, the free event was promoted by Norwich Friends of the Earth with support from Norwich U3A.
