Tried making a custom stage that was exclusively ladder-based and tested it with seven Level-9 CPU's. Apparently I made a stage that CPU characters CANNOT cope with. Might be good for certain challenges, but it also means you'll only be able to play a stage like this with humans exclusively.
The stage was originally called "Ladder Up" but after all this happened (got the same results three matches in a row) the name was changed to "Climacophobia," meaning "fear of the act of climbing."
The stage is available to download online, but if you're looking to do some proper Smashing, you'll need other humans to join in. Either look for the stage name or just look via the ID number.
