I was a little surprised, while watching the Super Gaming Bros. review of Sonic 2, to hear that they had difficulty traversing through the Wing Fortress zone. They demonstrate a shortcut to bypass most of the stage, but I personally prefer not using a hurt-flash method of overcoming obstacles.
So I decided to show my way, using the Wii Virtual Console version of Sonic 2. There's no self-inflicted injury involved, and you'll find plenty of rings to give you a start on Super Sonic if you have all the emeralds...or at least an extra life or two. It's not a shortcut per se...just an easier route. On that note, I'm not trying to show EPIC SKEELZ either.
The Mystic Cave a capella mix comes from the Sonic 2 Special Edition (for the Sega 32X CD) Let's Play. LOOK FOR IT, it is an awesome watch. :3 (Just don't look on YouTube; the original author never put it up there.)
