A former graphic designer turned 30-year sheriff’s deputy under legendary “Dick the Dove” Kienist, Ellen brings a lifetime of public service and deep love for Aspen’s golden era. She then zeroes in on the real issue: ultrafine (nano) particles from jet exhaust blasting just 1,700 feet from the kids’ ski school at Buttermilk and thousands of nearby residents.

In partnership with the American Archive of Public Media and the Library of Congress, GrassRoots is currently cataloguing, restoring and digitally archiving 700 of the most at-risk original video programs out of its 45,000 title Community Video Archive.
