Claymore, or more specifically Clare, Raki, and the 7 other Claymore's stories led the way for many of the anime we love today. The Promised Neverland (well, before season 2), Madoka Magica, and even Attack On Titan all took inspiration from Claymore. Is it perfect? No. But Claymore has permeated the manga and anime ethos unlike almost anything else from it's generation.

When you break it down, Claymore is about 3 things: Isolation, institution, and connection. Clare's story and the struggles her and the remaining 7 deal with after the battle in the north is the apex of all three of these ideas. Dismantling an oppressive institution that kept them isolated and ignorant. Yet none of this would have come to be without their connection to one another, and that boom solely rests on Clare's shoulders. While Clare may be the weakest, #47 Claymore, her ability to connect with others and establish long term relationships is what eventually topples the powers of the world they live in.
