The Songs of Bilitis (Les Chansons de Bilitis) is a collection of erotic, essentially lesbian poetry written by Pierre Louÿs.

Debussy, who was Louÿs' close friend, set to music three of the poems in 1897: La flûte de Pan, La chevelure and Le tombeau des Naïades — as songs for female voice and piano.

00:00 - La Flute De Pan.
02:21 - La Chevelure.
05:26 - Le Tombeau Des Naiades.

Performer: European Archive.
