There are many maps in old school Monster Hunter that have never returned to more recent games like Monster Hunter Generations. These videos are to showcase the beautiful environments Capcom engineered that will never return. Enjoy.

This is the OLD JUNGLE, which is honestly the best swamp map in the series. The swamp actually feels dark, damp, and misty. You can read more about it on the Monster Hunter Wikia. It's a shame it never returned to later games.
