The Feadship superyacht Legacy V was relaunched as Emerald after a 16 month extensive refit and rebuild at Balk Shipyard last Thursday. The De Voogt designed yacht, delivered in 1990, had a length of 48.6m/ 159’5” when she arrived at Balk Shipyard in October 2021 and measured 50.4m/ 165’4” after a stern extension now. Emerald, which features a brand new custom interior by Design Unlimited. To suit her new name, the yacht’s hull was painted in “orion green”. Emerald’s experienced European owners wanted to bring the yacht’s existing design up to date and create a home at sea to be enjoyed by all the family and charter clients. The 12 crew yacht, able to deliver a five-star service, will set to premiere at the 2023 MYBA Charter Show and will join the charter market under the management of TWW Yachts.
