Back again with a new one! I seem to have developed a bit of a backlog of songs so I’m going to try and stick with releasing one song around every 3 weeks at this point, a bit faster than usual :). I’ll also be making sure to add the instrumental versions of the tracks in the description to my newer songs as those have been asked for in the past. I’ve been itching to create another orchestral/cinematic style song and here it is! I find it really cool to take classical orchestral elements and blend them with powerful electronic basses/synths, which just seem to make the sound that much more impactful. I also didn’t originally intend to include vocals in this one but as I started to play around with some samples I felt they were really able to help elevate the song. In some of my past songs I experimented a bit with an electric guitar sound, and for this one I went a little crazy on the distortion to try and turn what was a nice guitar into a powerhouse of spooky energy. At the same time recently I have been trying to not overdo it on the high end to make more room for the instruments that often take center stage there such as the vocal and guitar, so in this case that involved putting the bass more in the background than usual. I’m loving the spooky vibes recently though and I hope you are too!
