I based the story of this song on a particular Dungeons & Dragons session I played a few years ago with some friends, and tried to condense many of the twists and turns from that adventure into 3 minutes. Many of you will probably also be able to tell I used the instrumental from “Maestro” as the basis for this one, and so I hope this different story still does it justice.

I like to think this version would be Jinx’s darker take on the song “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons. I was a big fan of Arcane and love many of the League of Legend cinematic songs, so after seeing the show I knew I needed to put my touch on it. You might also notice I actually revamped my previous song “Turn Out The Light” to make this one. It was also great working with Scarlett, whose voice just seemed to fit the dark vibe perfectly. Should I keep the cover songs coming?

Another awesome lyric video with this one, and another label release this time with Gaming Playlist! Still copyright free though as usual. I started this one a few months ago while working on a different song that was surprisingly uplifting (which will be released soon). I had discovered that humming vocal sample you hear at the start of the song and put as much distortion as possible onto it. I felt the result was cool enough to build a song around. Hope you all like it!
