Following safety concerns raised by downtown business owners, the City of Rochester has made temporary patch-and-grind repairs to cracked, uneven sidewalks along 3rd Street Southwest. Business owners Thai Pop and John Kruesel’s General Merchandise shared their thoughts on the fix.
While glad to see the tripping hazards addressed without more heavy construction, they are calling on the city to lay out a more permanent replacement plan.
