City of Little Rock to demolish West Markham Street pedestrian bridge after it was hit by truck @arkansasonline

A pedestrian bridge that spans West Markham Street in Little Rock will be demolished after a truck clipped the underside of the structure earlier this week, city officials said Thursday.

Engineers assessed the bridge and determined it has been “damaged beyond what can feasibly be repaired for public use,” a news release said.
