What happens when he finds out that his Beauty isn't as fragile and inoccent as he thought her to be, that she has been planning his demise for months? Can she show him the way or are some beasts just beasts, with hearts irrevocably darkened and broken?
In a city where Beasts rule and Beauties are equally lethal, every wrong move can lead to death. Especially when the Beast wants to rule it and the Beauty escape it.

I love both of these characters, I really do but I love them in a way one loves something lost and tragic. Don't get me wrong, both of them are toxic as hell and vile in their own special kind of way - they cannot and are not redeemed. Which is why I love the book so very much! You feel every choice and decision, every despicable action and every word uttered, whether it be true or not. Maybe if it was a different world, a different story, Anabel would've pieced together the Beast's heart and Nik would've rescued the Beauty from being consumed by revenge... Maybe they wouldn't be as damned and as lost.... But this isn't such a story.
Unfortunately, currently there isn't an english translation of the book - hopefully one day!
