This uses opencv remap extensively, the idea was to try to turn an image inside out sort of by flipping it around arbitrary axes defined by contours (naturally found with cv::findContours). The nearest contour point to every pixel is found and in the result image the pixel that is equal distance but on the opposite side of the contour is put into that position. Here the contour is a circle, so parts on the outside of the circle get put into the inside (which creates a lot of seams that are somewhat ugly), and the image inside the circle boundary is now on the outside.
