I found this from looking through Moderator sends, and wow, it goes pretty crazy with the shader effects. Surprisingly, I still found it quite nice to play. You mostly have to hit various orbs timed to the music, which are made very big. As a result, they're very clear even during fast speed and effects on top. There are also some nice arrows to indicate the correct route. One cool option is that you can disable shaders with a trigger orb at the start, so people who want a cleaner experience can have that. We go for the full experience here, though.
Aside from the various effects on top, what's going on beneath in the structures and custom backgrounds is also very good. There's a lot of sick art in both of these layers. With so much detail, it can end up a bit static as it's difficult to move so much, but Kazey made it all dynamic. There are even some animations synchronized to the song, such as the boss at 1:00 and the ending cutscene at 1:16. All of this movement, as well as the effects, makes for great synchronization to an incredibly intense and fast-paced song by Camellia from the Music Library. Synchronizing visuals this well to a song like this should be a challenge, but Kazey handled it really nicely. I just noticed that I uploaded a level by them in 2022, which was quite different but still really high quality. It's nice to see their progression in this.

Note that I beat the level twice in this video, as its required for the coin. You can watch me get the collectables to unlock the coin from the start of the video, unlocking the cutscene at 1:34, or playing the normal path from 3:48. This megacollab is an entry for the NCS Gauntlet Contest, so I will not be reviewing it here as usual. However, I will still be reviewing the coin below this as it doesnt affect the contest placement. Also, please let me know what you think about this entry in the comment section!
*COIN RATING*
Overall: Viprin Certified. 4/4. The level only has one coin, which ties into the levels theme in a really unique way. It includes various collectables that are both hard to find and get. Afterwards, you have to beat the whole level again, this time from the normal path, adding an additional challenge.
- 1st Coin: Viprin Certified. Shown from the start, you have to get 11 collectables throughout the level, all of which spell out a number. These are found at 0:12, 0:23, 0:25, 0:36, 0:42, 0:49, 0:59, 1:07, 1:09, 1:22, and 1:26 respectively. There are too many to explain them all, but you can quickly see that they all have unique designs that fit well with the theme, while also being somewhat hard to notice and reach. When beating this, I accidentally skipped 1 or 2 several times, so the amount makes it pretty hard. Still, just collectables doesnt really qualify a level for Viprin Certified in terms of originality. The cutscene at the end is what does it, as the numbers from the collectables spell out the phone number to the cab called at 1:34. If you miss a single one, the girl will not call the cab. Before this, you have to watch her play and fail at Stereo Madness, Cataclysm, and Astralith for a few minutes, which is a fun touch. After this, the coin is unlocked in the endscreen through a persistent item, so rebeating it normally does the trick. This is shown from 3:48 in the video. All in all, the coin has lots of added difficulty while also being original in how well it ties into the theming of the level with lots of thought and effort put into the execution. I dont know how many people will get it, but itll be a cool challenge for those who do.

As tradition has it, Ayup (a Discord server of many Geometry Dash players and creators) release a megacollab on Christmas. Last year it was kr1tmas, which was a really cool Christmas level. This time around, 2.2 just released as well, making this one even more interesting. Toomas was put together in just a week. Its definitely not the creators strongest work, but its still a very cool level overall. Every part uses the Christmas theme well, utilizing appropriate colors and visuals, whether its thanks to the block design, decorations, backgrounds, and more. Most importantly, its a fun level both to watch and play; its clear that the creators had a lot of fun making this, not taking the process extremely seriously, which I felt while playing. Theres a lot of fun art around, as well as fun usage of 2.2 features such as particles, camera controls, and more. This deserves an Epic Medium Demon rating in my opinion.
