A look at the Simi Valley, CA 'Chuck E. Cheese's' Location.
One of the early Pizza Time Theater locations, this Store opened in 1980 and remarkably retained some of it's earlier history over it's last few years of operation.
At the time this filming in 2007, the Store still had late 1980s decor and original PTT 'Flag Waver' units mounted in the Show Room.
Although the 'Flag Wavers' were non-operational at the time that this was filmed, the older interior decor and signage was a delight to witness during an era when most CEC Locations had far more modern remodels.
This short video features a tour of their vintage Show Room with late 1980s decor, including footage of the 'Rocker / Porch' stage that was still present.
The Stage was unusual, and one of the last of it's kind at this time.
The crazy paint job on the 'house' was not original and likely done by the owners of the Store.
Sadly the animatronic characters were in very poor condition mechanically, as the Location closed the following year in 2008.
A view of the Cybermiac Show Controller is also featured.
