It's about time I did this, huh?
It's been a while since I've regularly made lofi playlists. Just because I made so many of them, I got tired! And also, of course, my focus on this channel had to shift when I began working on my own upcoming video game.
But alas! I have been making some time to post a bunch this month. Fair compensation for my absence...
I'm surprised I haven't made a dedicated Chrono Cross playlist yet! I haven't sunk my time into the game as much as I have with Chrono Trigger, which is probably part of the reason. But I do genuinely love its soundtrack a TON, and I consider it a worthy follow-up to Chrono Trigger's OST.
I'll share my thoughts as we go through...

I feature a lot of Kannibal's songs from "Chronowave 2" in this. Be sure to check it out! This stuff is really incredible, as you'll see. There was no better way to start this list.
2:55 - On the Beach of Dreams ~ Another World (Sad Gatomon)
This track is one of the most iconic from the game, and for good reason. It really carries this sense of mystery and awe, and its relaxing energy pairs well with lofi beats.
5:35 - Reminiscing ~ Uneraseable Memory (Heirin)
Heirin's Chrono Cross lofi mix is also extremely good, layering the original tracks in effects and beats. It really creates a great vibe for this time of year!
7:13 - Guldove ~ Home World (Kannibal)
I really like how funky the beat gets in this one! It creates a very distinct tone that meshes well with the melodies.
11:27 - Fragment of a Dream (DJ Cutman)
The remix was titled "Leaving the Body", a different song in the OST, but it's actually a take on Fragment of the Dream, so I corrected it. Either way, it's very neat!
14:44 - Forest of Cutting Shadows (Kannibal)
This track has always been one of my favorites in the OST. I find it so underrated. So... It's no secret I JUMPED at the chance to include a remix of it.
17:42 - Dream of the Shore near Another World (sebastien skaf)
Where do you most frequently listen to my playlists? I feel like this would absolute pair well by the beach, as the song title suggests...
20:19 - Lost Fragment (Heirin)
I can't explain it, but the groove on this one... One of those tracks you could just get lost in.
23:44 - Frozen Flame (Kannibal)
Another of my favorites from the OST. The ethereal energy of this remix is spectacular!
25:59 - Fields of Time (Midi Music)
Technically this is synthwave, not lofi, but with a track THIS good, I think it's excused.
30:41 - Life ~ Distant Promise (Kannibal)
Another favorite... Kannibal really has a knack for giving this soundtrack a really nice edge with the compressed sounds.
35:34 - Star-Stealing Girl (Kannibal)
Star-Stealing Girl is arguably up there in competition as best song in the Chrono series, so I'm happy to see it getting love.
39:01 - On the Beach of Dreams ~ Another World (Heirin)
I will always take the chance to listen to this song more.
41:36 - Scars of Time (VG-FI Music)
This is DEFINITELY one I can add to my walking playlists. I go walking in nature a lot, and used to spend quite a lot of time listening to lofi out there. In recent times, I've mainly just been using it as an excuse to listen & review my upcoming game's soundtrack...
45:12 - Fragment of a Dream (Heirin)
It's simple, but effective! I think the cricket sounds and the like really help give this some depth.
47:51 - The Girl Who Stole the Stars (Heirin)
Whenever I hear this, I think of a very important character in my video game that I am working on. You'll probably be able to guess who if you play it.
51:40 - Departed Souls (Heirin)
One of my personal favorite remixes of this list. I really just can't get enough of it!
54:02 - Radical Dreamers (Kannibal)
I knew I had to include this from the moment I first listened to the first second of this track. It really just enhances the incredible bittersweet aura in this state...
1:00:14 - On The Beach of Dreams ~ Another World (Tymedust Games)
This nice little upbeat one I wanted to end it on. I will be uploading a bunch more playlists in the coming week or so, to make up for my abscence! Then, I'll probably slow down to once or twice a month.
