Alright, I know I said on my Sessions livestream last week that "Grenade" by Bruno Mars would be my next cover, and I'll get to that one next, but I just gotta get a vent cover like this out of the way first.
A lot has been going on with me mentally lately, and it's been making me feel really depressed. Without going into too many details, bad past experiences have been threatening my current happiness w/ what I have, and trying to pull me back into that horrible toxic place I was in years ago. I have avoided it the best I can, and surrounded myself w/ the wonderful friends that I have now (many thanks to them for their patience and compassion w/ me btw), but in doing that, it has made me question whether doing that and avoiding this horrible past was the right thing to do. Like, I know that I have been hurt by this in the past, but in running away this time when it offered a hand out to me so freely, it makes me think of what could have been had things turned out different, and makes me wonder if I really made the right choice in leaving it behind this time around.
Consider this cover my response and views on those bad past experiences (multiple experiences in my life, which, again, I'll avoid going into details on). This is me sharing my feelings with all of you, at last, so I really hope you enjoy this cover, and stay safe out there.
