It’s always interesting, for me (and, I hope, you), seeing dancers you’d not heard or seen film of before.

I just posted film of Christiane Vlassi and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux in some sections of Act 2 of ‘Giselle’.

This upload here is footage of the same two dancers rehearsing a modern work on stage - 'Grandeur Nature' by Michel Descombey - the ballet involves a young trainee dancer, a girl, in some kind of competition with the ballerina (played by Christiane Vlassi).

It has been taken from the French television series ‘L'âge Heureux’.
